Wildhorse is a groundbreaking mixed-use master planned community development coming to Austin, Texas with over 500 lots. It is designed to integrate residential, commercial, and recreational spaces. This project aims to foster community growth through innovative planning and sustainable development practice.

Mahoney Engineering provided comprehensive multi-phase subdivision planning and civil engineering services, including lot layout, grading, drainage, utility design, entitlement management, and coordination with the City of Bastrop. The team also negotiated incentives and variances and conducted detailed floodplain studies to refine erosion hazard zone boundaries.

As a result, the project achieved full permitting and construction of critical infrastructure, enabling immediate residential development and occupancy on approximately 250 lots while delivering a code-compliant community aligned with updated city standards and agreements.
