Mahoney Engineering provided Professional Land Surveying and Civil Engineering services to maximize parking operations for Austin Sports Center’s Cedar Park location and Austin Sports Center Sand Complex.  We provided due diligence support for property acquisition associated with adjacent properties to the site.  Once it was determined that adjacent properties were not able to be acquired, we redesigned the existing Sand Volleyball parking lot facility to maximize the parking.  Mahoney Engineering is seeking entitlements asscoiated with a site plan revision through the City of Cedar Park.  In addition, we provided coordination support with TxDOT and Cedar Park’s Transportation Department to retime the traffic lights at East Whitestone Road and Toro Grande Boulevard. Mahoney Engineering is providing additional entitlements and design for adding two (2) additional sand courts to the property.  With the addition of these sand courts, Mahoney Engineering is expanding its entitlement efforts with the site plan and revision and TCEQ contributing zone plan.  The expansion of the sand courts will include arborist, professional surveying, and landscape architecture services.  In addition, Mahoney Engineering will be file a future land use map amendment, rezoning and special use permit for the site.
