Mahoney Engineering provided Site Civil Engineering, Professional Land Surveying, Structural Engineering, Environmental, Landscape Architecture, Tree Assessment, and Subsurface Utility Exploration services to expand the Million Air fix base operator’s (FBO) facilities.  Mahoney Engineering was successful in obtaining full entitlement for the expansion from the City of Austin Department of Aviation and City of Austin Development Services.   These entitlements will allow Million Air to add three (3) additional hangers totaling 119,800 square feet, additional office space of 15,606 square feet, and additional departure lounges totaling 20,155 square feet.   This expansion further adds 214 new parking spaces and consolidates water quality control facilities to expand the aviation ramp area significantly.
