Mahoney Engineering is proud to be part of the development of Truck City, a premier commercial automotive service project located in Buda, Texas. Strategically positioned with direct access to I-35, Truck City is an automotive service facility for commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles, RV’s and large trucks such as the F-650 series.  The project involves comprehensive site planning, site civil engineering, and entitlement across two (2) phases of development to accommodate a 60,000 square foot Ford Pro Elite facility and over 900 parking spaces. Our team led site investigation, land surveying, utility coordination, and the preparation of site plans consistent with City of Buda code criteria. Critical to the project was the design of two detention and water quality facilities that maximized real estate while satisfying the environmental criteria of the City of Buda. Additionally, Mahoney Engineering appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council to secure a Special Use Permit for the automotive service (major) land use, as well as an Alternative Compliance variance for architectural standards.
