Sunchase is a large single-family residential development within a Planned Unit Development (PUD) that required extensive stormwater planning and coordination across multiple project sections. Mahoney Engineering provided storm network analysis, drainage design, water quality coordination, and integration with an existing regional detention study to ensure consistency with previous planning efforts. By working closely with reviewers and leveraging the flexibility provided by the PUD ordinance, the team developed practical, code-compliant solutions that streamlined the approval process, avoided costly redesigns, and established a strong foundation for future phases of the development.
